The Cal Poly Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE) is thrilled to be expanding its activities in South San Luis Obispo County with the extension of its Incubator program and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at The Launch Pad cowork space located in Grover Beach.
The CIE Incubator program is a two-year program that includes everything needed for early-stage companies to develop into financially stable, high-growth enterprises by providing the tools, training and infrastructure that help facilitate smarter, faster growth. Applications are open year-round here. This location will house the Aerospace/Aeronautics Vertical. Startups in the program will benefit from:
• Dedicated workspace at The Launch Pad
• Weekly goal-setting sessions with their lead mentor
• Monthly coaching sessions with subject-matter experts
• Monthly peer-to-peer roundtable discussions with startup founders
• Preferential access to equity funding partners
The CIE will also be hosting an SBDC Outreach Center at The Launch Pad to offer on-demand services to all South County businesses. The SBDC is a top resource for business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, offering no-cost, expert one-on-one business consulting, training, and online courses in startup assistance, debt and equity funding, finance, sales, marketing, and more.
